About

I am a Senior Research Fellow and Centre Co-ordinator for the Centre for Asian and Migrant Health Research in the National Institute for Public Health & Mental Health Research at AUT University. My other roles are Board Member of Counties Manukau District Health Board, a Board member of the Asia New Zealand Foundation and a member of the Lotteries Community Sector Research Fund Grant Distribution Committee. I maintain the Aotearoa Ethnic Network (AEN) and AEN Journal. I am a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal Diversity in Health and Social Care and the Journal of Transcultural Nursing. Hoping to submit my PhD about the discursive construction of migrant and refugee mothers (using Foucault and a postcolonial feminist discursive lens).
